Eighth Circuit Denies Petition for Rehearing in Political Discrimination Case

On Wednesday, the Eighth Circuit denied former Iowa law dean Carolyn Jones’ petition for rehearing in the political discrimination case we blogged about in December.  Our earlier coverage is here, and the Wall Street Journal’s story is here.

Iowa-based Judges Michael Melloy and Steven Colloton did not take part in the en banc review, and no judge called for a response to the petition (which also means that no one voted to rehear the case).
